loadbalanc with routerboard

Hi i have two device 1036-8g-2s+EM
i have use one of these for my core router and connect it with 10g port and with an other 10g port i connect it to other device but some times the first device get attack and cpu 100% and my network offilne .

i want to know is any way to i loadbalance these devices like active:active device? mean when on of these device go offile other device work correct

I belive active/active would mean a cluster like setup. If yes, I'm not aware of this functionality. However, you could setup IP failover using VRRP. Then if the main fails the other takes over within seconds. However, failure means that one router has to be unreachable to the other. See link: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/VRRP
