Mikrotik MTCWE and MTCRE course question.

Dont know where to ask this but hope someone can help me.
I want to take the MTCRE and MTCWE course but my MTCNA has expired last year.
Will i still be able to do the course and write the online exams with expired MTCNA certificate?

As a student, yes. If you want to become a trainer, you need too keep it current.

I am getting mixed answers from local trainers.
Can anybody else confirm this?
I really want to do the courses.

As a regular student, MTCNA does not have to be current, to take MTCRE. You can take the course with expired MTCNA

sorry to resurrect an old thread.
Just some day ago, one MT training centre refused one of my empolyee, with MTCNA expired some months ago, to take MTCRE course.
They want a 300 EUR renewal of MTCNA, then the full MTCRE course.
is that legal?
for MT; I can provide in private message the name and the emails of the training center.
