Hello
i was thinking if Mikrotik OS have the ability to do what i have put on the diagram below
my idea is to have an IP TV server on Site number 1 that i want to transfer via wireless ptp to my clients on Site number 2 , so if i have let say 100 clients watching tv channels that would result an over load on the main wireless link between the sites , so i was thinking if my channels can be transferred continuously from site 1 to site 2 and when client needs it they can have it from the MT CCR located on Site number 2 INSTEAD OF MT CCR located on site number 1, hopefully i have explained what im trying to establish correctly >
waiting your ideas and solution :D :D
Regards

You would need to move the server to site 2, or a larger link from site 1 to site 2.

No this cant be done with ROS(neither with any other root os ). You need special software(if it exists)that runs on a server on site2 to replicate the iptv server.
Mikrotik devices manage traffic, it can't "repeat" and handle your iptv trafic to users as it was the iptv server.

Maybe you can make EOIP tunnel between the SIte1 and Site2 and bridge together and then you can push the traffic trough the link?

thanks for the reply,
but what is the benefits of implementing Eoip tunnels if the load will continue to raise ?
and what is Multicast ? is it capable of doing that? i never worked with this property before
