Interference

Hi Everyone

This is my first attempt at a PtMP setup and I am having a few issues with Interference...Interference with our own setup that is, there is no one else using the 5Ghz frequency in the area.

We have a MikroTik LHG configured as a Station Bridge which is a PtP link back to our internet connectivity, and then we have a MikroTik mANT19s box that distributes the connection back out to end users, who are also using MikroTik LHG as the CPE.

The issue that I have is in our current configuration, the mANT is crippling the PtP link with noise, CQC at around 55% and testing at 40 - 45Mbps; confirmed by turning off the mANT and I can get 95Mbps on the PtP link without issue.

I of cause have both links on different frequencies and as far apart as possible.

If I physically stand between the dishes, both links work without issue and would suggest to me that its the 'leak' from the mANT that is causing the noise.

Any suggestions on how I can improve this situation?

You've pretty much narrowed it down right there. How far apart are the LHG / mANT? Your only options are likely more physical separation or better shielding. ie. replace the LHG with something like the below:

You can also try dropping the tx power for all radios on the tower.
