Currently we have 4 CCR1036 as pppoeserver to serve just over 1200 users with a tree mode queuing system. Our problem is that soon we are going to incorporate into our network 1000 Te question es will be better that the pppoe service work on an x86 machine instead of using more CCR1036.
We are thinking of a rack type server but the doubt does not arise in the hardware compatibility especially in what it refers network card.
We would appreciate any help
