Installing RouterOS on Wrap Board

Mon Dec 04, 2006 4:00 am

I am trying to install RouterOS on a Wrap Board. I have downloaded Netinstall but after I run it, it never comes up with a list of drives to install to. The Routers/Drives Field Stays Blank. Anyone know how to get past this?

Thanks

set wrap to boot from net and set bootp protocol, if that is not available for you - just install using cdrom. also you have to configure netinstall correclty (set the ip address to set to client to connect to your netinstall station)

actually none of the both are supported on the mentioned device. You have to use a USB-CF adapter, and install with netinstall on the CF while it's attached to your windows. Then just move the CF to your board.

And remember that you NEED to install the routerboard package for the reboot function to work on a WRAP!
