The more you ask of a box, the more you invite problems and bugs. I don't beleive in putting all my eggs in the same basket.
If you want an inexpensive and full featured pbx, get a raspberry pi. That's what I have and it works great. Bunch of grandstream phones and that's it!
When something goes South, I know where to look.

It is difficult to provide products/services/software/hardware that does not directly provide solutions to growing customer demands. The growing trend in all larger Internet markets is to also provide telco pots & VoIP services which can be integrated into any (or most) of the soft-switch platforms. My business has invested in a MetaSwitch soft switch platform so that we can provide phone services to customers. Now when it comes to CPE devices, do we look at full-complete one-vendor CPE systems which have built-in VoIP electronics or stay with Mikrotik and integrate some non-Mikrotik hardware also. Is CPE solution more expensive than the other ?
A good recipe to create a declining market for a product is to not provide what is needed and asked for by those who are making the purchases and paying the bills.
If Mikrotik decides to not directly support the VoIP market, that is somewhat OK with me - - - However , at the very least there should be a supported solution available with other 3rd party products to allow VoIP products to work with Mikrotik products (Pots, SIP, ATA, battery backup, on-line power/battery status, nema enclosure & support ).
