I am looking to use the Wireless Wire kit to bridge two buildings that are separated by a railroad track. This distance between the buildings is only 45 meters but the railroad right of way prevents easily running fiber between the two structures.

Is this distance too close to work? Will I need to reduce the power on the units?

Minimum distance is less than 1 meter. They work excellent from 1-150 meters, for longer distances speed will be lower. Your distance is perfect for ~Gigabit link.

i install Wap60 mount (home made) 45 cm parabolic dish antenna.
My signal wap60 device minimum 75 maksimum 85.
but not connected. wap60 Status connect and notconnect, connect and notconnect

Its not in the middle of the box, but also shifted to one side for aprox 10-15mm.
To get a quality result over the parabola, you need to place the small antenna inside the device precisely at the focal point of the parabola.

The question is whether it is possible to use it as a parabola feed at all, becouse of a nature of antenna inside (Phase array 60° beamforming).
it is very possible that this is why it constantly reports a connected disconnected problem.

I think LHG60 is not a different design.

AT first, lhg60 we will be waiting for another 6 months.
Second, the wap60g range could be twice of the lhg60 on the 90cm parabola, and especially since its ts is probably have higher tx power than that on the lhg60.
The most important is that wap60g will be easily to import as an indoor device, and lhg60 will probably be problematic because it is for fixed outdoor.
so please mikrotik for meaningful answer, is possible to use wap60g to feed parabolic antenna.

The wAP60 has a new type of beamforming antenna that adjusts it's beam based on conditions. It may not work with dishes like that. It is not officially supported and I can't give you any advice on that.

And 1.1km with 60Ghz would be to much. This is like shooting 5GHz through trees. You need luck and good weather. This is due to physics and no 60Ghz gear I know gives good/reliable results at this distance.

Long distance: lower frequency.

Do not complain about speed. That is all depending on environment, weather, luck etc.... Today you reach 500 Mbps... tomorrow 900 Mbps, and in the weekend 20 Mbps..... Go ahead, and explain to the clients (when they complain about speed), that today it is rainy, and the connection is not stable....

low 58.32GHz middle 60.48GHz and high 62.64GHz, all that channel have 14,9db/km oxygen apsorbtion but
for example we have RBLHG-5nD (International) supports 5150MHz-5875MHz range but we can set on superchannel from 4920MHz up to 6100MHz
is it possible to have superchannel on wap60g, how and in what frequency range?
on middle channel with 90cm parabola calculation give us -55dBi on 2000m with good margin for average rain and fog conditions.

I will install mine at ca 30 meters distance. Is there any configuration to make this work better on shorter distances, have read about lowering tx power etc. Is that recommended?

Also, is there a similar minimum distance for the wireless wire cube?

There is nothing to change power wise, it will adjust automatically.

There is no known minimal distance for RBcube, if you are planning on having both of them on the same table (0~2m), don't point them directly at each other

As Normis stated... I have had the wireless wire sitting on both ends of a table and it linked.

Minimal distance isn't really a thing. But proper aim really is.
