winbox not opening again

when i tried to open a particular machine i got the following error message:
winbox.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvinence.
i tried by deleting the folder %appdata%/mikrotik but it is still not working
please help.

Try deleting that directory again and download http://demo.mt.lv/winbox/winbox.exe

Try running that one.

try to upgrade or downgrade from latest version 2.2.10
maybe compatibility problems...
what os you use??

Hi all.
I'm also getting error messages with winbox.
Actually, it finds very well every MAC in my subnet, but, when I try to access, I get this error message:

Timed out!

I cannot understand what is the problem, also because this is only an .exe file, I mean, it is not an installation.

Check your PC for viruses,
check your firewall,
is it possible to login via terminal or ssh?
