On which device you would like to run the dude?

Come on, just make The Dude for mipsbe.
There is a special device for The Dude. Why not just use it before asking MT to do porting work.

There are much more devices than that to run the dude...

Only for small networks. Was not stable for us. Rb1100AHX4 is the device to run the Dude.

is not about stability, you must be aware of computational power of rb750gr3 cpu, its a little dual core like a cheap smartphone cpu you must size the dude accordingly:

For rb750gr3
maximum of 40 services monitoring and maximum 4 days of raw value data storage and maximum 75 mega-byte database size

For rb1100ahx4
maximum of 80 services and maximum 4 days of raw value data storage and maximum 150 mega-byte database size

For ccr1036
maximum of 160 services and maximum 4 days of raw value data storage and maximum 300 mega-byte database size

Anything beyond that you will have not good results

beyond that you need a separate x86 device to host the dude

for big networks multiple virtualized instances of the dude will be needed, ssd storage etc etc

always keep the dude database size under 500mega-byte to keep good performance

I guess we had stability problem with HEX as ram was not enough. Runs for 2 weeks and then suddenly died. Just had to hard reboot. No problem since switched to rb1100ahx4. Rock solid now.

As far as I know, you will need to do some scripting from dude, or other router to do this.

You can use TR-069 ACS to do that. Dude is for monitoring, not for mass configuration.
