Recently i tried to setup some epson Wifi MFC's on my network. The issue was that i could not discover them with the Epson install tool. The mfc's both were assigned an ip in the same subnet and i could ping them from the windows pc's on 3 different systems.

i also tried another Access Point ( technicolour modem/router acting only as an AP) and that worked fine straight away on all systems. the mfc's detected first go.

After more fiddling i believe i have narrowed it down to the Multicast Helper setting in the wireless properties. If i set it to FULL i can detect the wifi mfc's. If set to default or disabled i cannot detect it.

Is this normal and if not what is the correct way to configure the wireless adapter on the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN?
