Why doesn't watchdog turn off

Do you think MT could make the watchdog turn off when I uncheck it and apply that change.
It's sickening that something SO SIMPLE does not work properly when you turn it off.

I should not have to change the IP address to something else for it to turn off. Otherwise remove the stupid check box that lets you think you can turn it off.

Same here! ROS 6.41, unticked Timer, but watchdog is still active (per logs) and do router restarts!

ROS developers, WTF?

I assume you used Winbox. What happens if you do it from command line?

I use Winbox. Don't care what happens in CLI.

If WinBox interface preperly sees checkbox position (and it's sees!), CLI Watchdog status must be Ok.
