CAPSMAN V2 - timeout manipulation possible?

Howdy all!

Minor annoyance I am dealing with, maybe you guys can help. Long story, I have a minor problem where a site's connectivity may be absolutely loaded up 100%, and a CAP on the far end of the link has a very slow connection back to the manager. It's infrequent, but it does happen and when it does the CAP shuts down all wlan interfaces and SSIDs. This is not usually a big deal, except the rather low-tech users on that AP will lose connection, and complain about it for whatever reasons. The mechanical problem, that being overloaded circuits, is already being addressed and eventually we solve this with QoS and better bandwidth, as well as running CAPSMAN local to the sites. In the meantime, I'd love to increase and adjust the timeout from a CAP->CAPSMAN, or incite some behavior like "do not down these interfaces you built from the provisioning unless rebooted/unprovisioned/etc".

Any chance of that being a "feature" at some point, simply extending the timeout or somehow having a toggle for behavior post-provisioning?

Thanks!

Hello,

Googling "capsman timeout" brought me to your post. Did you manage to find an answer?

Thank you!

The real problem is not the capsman but a router that works at 100%...

+1 on being able to manipulate the timeout. I have a couple of large CAPsMAN sites, and they go crazy even on a STP event.
