Hello, recently i purchased latest apu boards(2 x apu2), equipped with wle600vx wifi card, msata ssd and sd card, especially to install routeros on them. But unfortunately the installing process it get stuck at
'Fatat error: no harddrives found' ( p.s: since apu have only the serial port for the output, console must be redirected to serial and this must be done in syslinux.cfg and isolinux.cfg)
So untill now i tried with 1 msata, 1 sd card and additional 1 usb stick, it doesn't recognize any storage device.. I'm kind a angry as well as i was 100% sure that i could install routeros on this boards. Can i ask why are there limitations for? I can easily install any other os like pfsense, debian centos etc but not routeros..

Bump, there is no solution for home usage with such boxes like Alix/APU?

Did you netinstall to the msata and then try booting your device? Its likelihood of working probably depends on if RouterOS has the needed drivers for the hardware.

Hi, nope still the same problem so neither netinstall isn't working because it won;t install the entire system, it will just copy some packages and you have to boot from that device in order to install routeros.

I successfully installed Vmware ESXi and then installed the Cloud Hosted Router. Yes, this is not bare metal, but it does work. Used for experimentation - did not continue into production access.
