*) led - removed unused "link-act-led" trigger for devices which does not use it;
*) netinstall - sign Netinstall executable with an Extended Validation Code Signing Certificate;
*) poe - do not show "poe-out-current" on devices which can not determine it;
*) poe - hide PoE related properties on interfaces which does not provide power output;
*) winbox - made UDP local and remote TX size parameters optional in Bandwidth Test tool;
*) winbox - show dual SIM options only for RouterBOARDs which does have two SIM slots;
*) winbox - use proper graph name for HDD graphs;
*) wireless - enable all chains by default on devices without external antennas after configuration reset;

Thanks!
!) tile - improved overall system performance and stability ("/system routerboard upgrade" required);
- is it the same improvement, as in 6.41.3 (identical description), or yet a new improvement (improving it even more), or did the improvement in 6.41.3 didn't work?

dmorg - First this problem must be resolved within RC version and backported to bugfix/current channels only if it would be possible. Please follow the changelog.
dasiu - We can say that this is improved improvement
Simono - I do not see any problems with download links. Do you try "Check for updates" feature? If you do, which IP is resolved by this command ":put [:resolve upgrade.mikrotik.com]"? Try the command multiple times until resolved IP addresses start to repeat themselves. Should be - 159.148.147.204 and 159.148.172.226.

Hi,
after upgrade to 6.41.4 I have noticed in log message "installed wireless@-6.41.4"
Few lines above there is "verified wireless-6.41.4-mipsbe.npk", which is correct.
After upgrade in System - Packages shows correct "wireless" with version.
I think I have also seen that in 6.41.3.
Just log message seems to be wrong - looks like typo or small bug.

jetelina - Do not worry about that. In the past (old versions) we had wireless package and now we have another one which is also called wireless. This "@" symbol is there on purpose;
netflow - Is modem working properly on 6.42rc?
irghost - Will be back on download page as soon as possible.

Try this topic
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=132648 - RC builds are slightly better, but still crappy. Still no info from MT, only many complains from users.

Updated two 3011, two wAP AC, one CHR running on Hyper-V and also a 493G without any issues.
Are there any official plan to fix the firmware so it auto upgrades so I do not have to restart each machine twice every time? By offical plan I mean when this will be solved and not Yes it will be solved.

Updated a 2x CRS226 without a problem. But...... my RB2011 is stuck. I hear a beep every few seconds, display shows routerboot, starting kernel....... over and over again.
Power off/on does not solve anything. How to fix this (preferably without losing my config)?
Yeah, recently got the RB2011 back in use and forgot to back-up my config
.

woro, pepek, Simono - We are working on fixes for wireless improvements. Please note that this is "user forum". In order to contact MikroTik staff, you should write to
support@mikrotik.com. Please do not expect that your problem will be resolved after you have posted that on forum. Yes, we might notice your posts and topics, but official way is through an e-mail.
Kindis - We are slowly moving forward and preparing for something like this. In future, at some point, firmware upgrade will happen together with RouterOS upgrade.
Lakis - Have you reported this to
support@mikrotik.com?
fvdm - Use Netinstall and make sure that "Keep old configuration" is enabled -
https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Netinstall

Thanks for the feedback. I came across those issues only today in that announcement so I was looking for pointers only (yet).
But I also understood now that it's not required to report further hAP ac2 wifi issues? Just asking because I got my first one today and going to test a bit.
Apart from that I fully get that the support mail is the only right thing (process wise).

I have a CCR1009 thats connected to a cisco 2911. After about 10 days or so, latency suddenly becomes sporadic. Did not happen on 6.38.5. Does happen on 6.41.3, will the above listed in 6.41.4 fix this issue? As trivial as it sounds, admin down the port, and back up seems to fix it. We had to set both devices to auto negotiate for them to link up at all. I have tried emailing support on another larger issue with a RB1100AHx4, but Im not getting replies.......... I have asked for updates.......
EDIT: Not sure why I thought CRS, It was a CCR1009

woro - It is not possible through forum to determine what kind of problem do you have. I recommend that you still contact support team since problem might even not be related to hardware.
netflow - Please write to
support@mikrotik.com and explain the problem that you have with 6.41.4 and that you do not have the same issue on 6.42rc. We will try to include required fixes into 6.41.5 release.
mikeeg02 - Quoted fix is for CCR devices, not for the CRS. Does the same problem persist on 6.42rc version? Please test this if possible. If problem persist, then contact support.
SirPrikol - Please generate supout files on your router and send them to
support@mikrotik.com. Without additional information we can not determine what is the cause of the problem that you have.

After upgrade I don't see anymore LTE AP profile in Quick Menu dropdown list. Device: wAP LTE kit. After changing some other settings and Apply, I cannot connect to my device with WinBox and WebFig anymore because apparently another profile was applied and management IP address was reset.

edgarsm - This fix is available only in 6.42rc version and not in the 6.41.4 - "quickset - properly detect LTE interface on startup". Sounds that this is the fix which is required on your case.

Im not sure why I said CRS, it is a CCR1009. My mistake, I'm about half sick. What was addressed with the tile improvement? I have not upgraded it to 6.41.4 yet, the problem had shown itself ~10 days after upgrading to 6.41.3 from 6.38.5 which never missed a beat.
Any suggestions on getting a reply from support on [Ticket#2018040522000294] ? I got an initial reply, and nothing further.

II have come across exactly the same issue on RB3100 and also on a Dynadish, >>> after upgrading via winbox, then wait for reboot. The system thereafter apparently restarts imto a continual loop. As soon as it starts , it restarts. No time to configure setup or netinstall. Extremely frustrating.
Now what does one do??

Of course, this is discussion forum, not helpdesk. You cannot monitor all topics and respond to all posts with symptoms of possible problem. But you can respond to problem discussed in at least five different topics (to which you respond to other questions). Just quick note "working on it" would reduce number of posts in these topics to half. Systematically ignoring all mentions about this problem seems very strange and suspicious. Admiring that there is a problem and you are trying to make it work is fair and trustworthy behavior.
When I find some problem, I try to search for anybody else in same situation. When I find some public blog post/forum thread, I try to search it for solution/more info (and not to bother support with repeated question to problem with already known and published solution). If I don't find any public info, I contact support/helpdesk. Here? I found tens of users with exactly the same problem, MikroTik responses to other questions in same topics but absolutely no info about current state of this bug. This can confuse users and make them panic.
Is it better to receive tens of questions about wifi speed to helpdesk every day, or to send few posts to forum, that this is known general problem and you are working on it?

zeane - Please connect serial console cable to this router, connect to serial console from your computer, power on router and wait for it to go into reboot. After that provide whole serial output to
support@mikrotik.com.
pepek - We are trying our best and will try to improve our communication with users through forum. However, point of my previous post was that the fastest way to get a response would be through official support e-mail.

I just recently upgraded all of my devices to v6.41.4 [current].
I have one RB450G (configured as a pure switch) behind my CCR1016-12G router. Thus, the RB450G itself should not ask for and should not get any IP assigned from the DHCP server (CCR).
But since I updated the RouterOS, suddenly my logs on my CCR are flooded with
dhcp,warning dhcp1 offering lease 192.168.7.247 for <MAC_OF_RB450G_HERE> without success
Any idea what is wrong now?
Cheers, nin
