Random spikes in graphs

Every now and then we get a random spike in our bandwidth charts (see image). The data is pulled via SNMP, so I presume there's been an issue reading the data. The spike itself doesn't bother me too much, but it does squash the scale of the chart to a point where it's no longer useful. For example, the link in the screenshot has a 500Mbps capacity, though the scale has been squashed to show a 7 Gbps spike.

Is anyone else having this issue?
Is there an easy fix?
If not, could the vertical-max of the chart be limited to the speed of the interface?

Thanks everyone

We have sometimes similar spikes on chart, and you right - it is annoying. Usually it is happen when connection to The Dude server dropped. That would be great to have possibility to zoom chart or to limit by bandwidth. You can add your request to Feature request list.
