I've been running dynadishs on my primary backhauls since late last year with little trouble. We had some spring storms that took a few out and I ordered replacements. Well , the replacements I got were totally inadequate for the job. Seems the power levels were way down , the UNI 2 frequencies were removed , and most of the useful functionality was also taken out of the firmware. When I first started using these they held much promise , but these changes are forcing me to change to another manufacturer just to regain what I've lost . I did learn that if you change the default antenna setting from 25 dB to a lesser value it does regain much of the range the older units had but that's a cheat that really isn't advisable. So ...why Mikrotik?
