Hello fellow mikrotikians!
tl;dr How is the RSSI sent by the wifi sniffer over TZSP calculated from the dBm the device shows in connection/clients view?
I'm currently trying to build a system where we need to create virtual fences by mapping the area onsite, which we do by checking the signal strength to multiple devices that roam the fences.
The device itself will later be in wifi sniffer mode sending the data over TZSP to our server. However the values differ a lot (60 dBm are about 160 rssi in the TZSP) and are unusable this way.
Does anyone know the formula mikrotik uses for the sent RSSI?
Thanks and best regards, Rene
