Hi,

I'd be interested what is the weakest signal that will keep a Mikrotik 60 GHz link online with the lowest modulation and actual firmware.

My weakest link is a WAP60 to a LHG60, lenght 763 Meter, RSSI around -69 db. Its planed to possibly have a PTMP scenario later on.

ITU Climate Zone H or K (vienna, map not exacte enough), a 40 mm rain should approx. give 10 db loss at this distance. will -80 db still have me online ? Ignitenet says -77 db @ MCS1, and mikrotik could be better at MCS 0 ;)

Btw I have a 5 ghz backup ...

BW from Vienna !
