I am quite new to mikrotik and I am trying to setup a wireless network via winbox. I can get the 2 units set 1 as AP the other as CPE and I can see that they are connected to each other, but i cannot get them to ping to each other, or pass any data. please help

I can make a perfectly good network connection and get data flowing by setting up the ports on each card as bridged and then setting the boards in WDS mode. But I cannot seem to get the boards to function passing traffic in a regular mode. I have tried reading in the Manual and it has lots of good information on the more technical things but no help on just setting up a basic network.

set ip addresses, set routes and off you go
