I want to expand my Mikrotik Setup with more security - and thinking about IDS / IPS
Which one should I use or perhaps Both ?
BUT as far as I can see is the IPS solution required to be implemented between Internet Providers Modem and my Mikrotik. ( Is this required 2 netcards? )
My Setup is a modem from ISP which only provides my public IP-addresses ( I have an /29 public network) so I'm a little in doubt regarding this setup - where to place the IPS - should
In the provided example here https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Mikrotik_IPS_IDS He uses an dedicated machine - but I'm in doubt on how to place the IPS machine here!
Since I'm using all my public IP's - I'm in doubt here on how to set this IPS solution.

in My Mikrotik my network is created like this
172.16.0.1/24 --> LAN ZONE
172.16.10.1/24 --> DMZ Zone
5.103.12.X/29 --> WAN
So I have several machine to use for this solution - but I would like to be sure on how to implement it!
