Reinstall RouterOS (password issue)

Hello. I have a device "CCR1009-8G-1S-1S +" in my company.
We do not know the password. He is licensed at level 6.
The question is: if I reinstall RouterOS, does the license remain?

You can reset configuration without reinstalling ROS.

Resetting the device
In case you wish to return the device to its original configuration, you can use the RESET button. Hold this
button during boot time until LED lights start flashing, then release the button to reset RouterOS
configuration.
You can use this procedure if you have forgotten the password to access the device, or simply
wish to return the unit to its default configuration state.

Do you need to reinstall RouterOS? You can do a hardware reset which puts the router back to factory settings or you can netinstall as others have said.
