Hi,
I've been using l2tp client connections on hEx routers without problem.

I recently tried the hAP modules and got stuck : l2tp client never connects to my server, 1.2.3.4.5 in my log below.
So what could be wrong ? I'm using exactly the SAME setup, the one working on hEx doesn't work on hAP
I checked the server, hEx clients are connected, computers too, so the problem doesn't come from the server I guess.

Any help please ?

Hi,

As far as I know there is no difference configuration between HAP and HEX.
To help you troubleshoot you can do :
1. ping & traceroute to the vpn server from HAP. Is your HAP is properly connected or not.
2. Make sure the HAP and HEX does not connected from the same IP public (If your HAP & HEX is behind nat)
3. Try to disconnect your HEX from vpn server and then try connecting HAP to the server. Is it works or not?
4. Could you please share your HAP & server configuration here?

found it : same public IP !
So now I have to find a solution to have :

. one L2TP debian hosted server
. one single public IP
. 2 or more L2TP clients
