CRS125-24G SNMP error

Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:40 pm

Hi

I have a CRS125-24G-1S configured as switch and a RB1100AHx2 as router on network
In my PRTG there is no problem on rb1100 to monitor ports traffic and showing details. but on CRS125-24G-1S with same SNMP config I can not add SNMP traffic sensor for this error:

Device does not support the uptime oid (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0). This oid is required by the traffic sensors and mandatory by the SNMP RFC. Please check the snmp access rights in the device or contact the device manufacturer. (code: PE244)
Sensor Type SNMP Traffic
Device Switch (192.168.1.5)

I checked both Mikrotik devices and there is no change on SNMP settings except community name and pass. SO I have a question: does CRS125 switch have any different like limitation for SNMP or I have a problem on my settings?

My CRS125-24G-1S exhibits that OID:
gapinski@nuc7i7bnh:~$ snmpwalk -On -c public -v 1 192.168.1.200|grep 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0 = Timeticks: (20990300) 2 days, 10:18:23.00
gapinski@nuc7i7bnh:~$
EDIT: forgot to mention that the firmware version is 6.44beta61.
EDIT2: …and that SNMP is enabled.

snmpwalk -On
Is this mikrotik command? (bad command name snmpwalk)
SO I have a question: does CRS125 switch have any different like limitation for SNMP or I have a problem on my settings?

No, thats usual command in linux. Thing is that @GaryGapinski proved that his CRS shows this specific OID, therefore the OID is implemented (at least in the 6.44.beta61)
