Which powersupply to use on RB532 & nmp-8602plus

Hello.
We are often using RB532A with RB502 daughterboards and usually 3x CM9 and 1x NMP-8602plus wireless cards. I was wondering just how strong the power supply should be to run this properly.

What is the difference between NMP-8602 and 8602plus cards? We often have problems with NMP cards, either working OK for couple of days and then just losing it, or breaking in other ways. The best indicator for the break is that scanning with both ant-a and ant-b modes give same results, regardless where the antenna is connected to.

Thank you in advance,

Ivan

If you're using collinear antennas from pacific wireless, that might be burning out your diversity switches. Environments with lots of static buildup on the antennas can cause this problem.

There are some threads on the forum about methods of mitigating this issue.

RB532 should work well with a simple 18V 0.8A PSU or the garden variety of af PoE.

No problems with NMP8602+ with over 25 in use as APs in high noise environments, although even when working the way the diversity is set up on these card will return scan results even with the wrong port selected with slight loss in signal.
