Good day,
Here is another issue. I have setup a VPN for the offices outside the main subnet. It was working fine for a couple of months and now it is giving a error message, see attached.
Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear about that. Which VPN are you using right now? Is this one free or paid? If paid how much do you spend per month? I think you should contact to the customer support asap for getting the instant solution you are facing right now. I also set up [REMOVED]. Overall, not bad. Reliable with good customer support.

It looks to me like a consequence of the "Windows is a service" approach, actually meaning "what worked yesterday won't work today without warning because we know better". So I'd first change the settings on Windows so that it would use only the particular VPN type you have configured on the server rather than trying all methods in sequence, and then I'd use the firewall rules on the VPN server (which I assume is Mikrotik since you post the question on this forum) to log whether the connection attempts actually reach the server. If they do, I'd start logging the particular VPN protocol on the Mikrotik and read the log created during the failed connection attempt. If they don't, I'd start investigating why.

Good day,
Thank you everyone that tried to help. I have figured out my problem. It was a firewall rule config that was not correct.

Did you try restarting your computer? I find Windows sometimes just stops working with VPN but will work when rebooted.

Yeah, I also agree with you mate. This might happen but at that time if you restart your computer one time would be okey. VPN will start working again.
