interface ethernet poe power-cycle does not work?

Fri Apr 19, 2019 10:20 pm

Recently I updated routeros to 6.44.2 on all my rb960-pgs and after some days my monitoring tells one of those routers can't reach attached poe-devices, so i wanted to power-cycle them, but noticed that function does not work. I believe it worked in some version in the past, but I don't recall which exact version, so trying to downgrade some versions to find out. Neither clicking the button, nor executing the command via terminal, both ways just do nothing where I would expect the attached device to reboot.

Downgrade to 6.44.1 and 6.44 didn't help.

I could set PoE Out to off and to auto on again on one attached device, but the second I can't do this remotely, because its the uplink device..

What could I try else? Or is anybody else facing the same issue?

edit/update: I tried that on other rb960-pgs routers and its the same behaviour. downgraded to 6.43.14 on one of those but still power cycle does not work.
