be careful! 6.44.x should not marked as stable!

Wed May 01, 2019 6:59 am

because it's all crash wAP ac!

my wAP ac have original version 6.42.x I guess, it runs very well, very stable.

then I upgrade it to 6.43.x , the 5G wireless get a little unstable, just break links for a very short time especially for initial connection. I don't mind it but my wife complain it many times, so I continue upgrade to 6.44.3, till now I found everything goes mess. 5G wifi always break, the router always reboot! the temperature in System Heath shows 53-55C. it's not a power supply issue, I have checked it.

today, I downgrade to 6.43.14 (Long-term), I found the situation is much better. System Heath shows 52-54C and the 5G wifi much more stable than 6.44.3 (stable), three Tx/Rx chains all enabled.

but this version still have bugs, the initial 5G connection is not stable, when you connect it first time, it will break soon, and then connect again, and then looks stable! the situation looks like my first upgrade.

I miss 6.42.x very much now, where can I download it? thank you.

I think it will be still online... Do right click on the download and copy the location. Open new tap. Paste location. But change the letters of the location map as well the version number you are looking for and press enter. I think it will start download then

Interesting, I updated wAP ACs to 6.44.2 last week. Along with all my cAP ACs and other systems. Not a single one of them has crashed or had an issue. Are you sure it wasn't something else?
