Email feature implementation poor

The ROS email feature is partially broken or a very bad design. When you use the GUI to go to email, it shows the email settings (server, u/n, pwd, port) but when you click send email, you have to specify all the settings (server, u/n, password port et.) again. Can't these values autofill from the email settings tab or at the very least give consumers a way to select them if they have more than one.

You don't have to specify the predefined settings. Just fill To and Body and it works fine.

I wouldn't call the flexibility of customized server parameters per send action poor design, actually rather handy.

You are correct.

It would be poor, if it did not work as you described but it does. Thanks for the handy tip.

The only poor implementation about e-mail is that there is no way to check the server certificate for TLS connections.
