unable to run a bandwidth test

I have a set up in which 10 stations are connected to AP.
I upgraded the stations to 6.44.2 while that of the AP is still at 6.43.8.
The issue is that I cannot do a bandwidth test from the station to the client while the test can run from the AP to the client.
Anyone with any explanation will be highly appreciated.
