hiya all,
Im wondering if it is possible to run a 532 from a RouterOS image on a CF, and if possible, where would I get such an image.
Im trying to develope a new use for the 532 but needs the OS to run on a CF.
Grateful for any input.

the CF can only be used for RouterOS Webproxy cache.

Is proxy-cache using a microdrive in CF the intended use for the CF under routeros?

"the CF can only be used for RouterOS Webproxy cache."
And for booting an alterante OS mounted on a CF so why not RouterOS?

Im using a 532 in a masters thesis, I need more space for html storage than what is available on the NAND, so I thought that I could use an image of RouterOS on a microdrive and boot to that.
My alternative is to put the whole thing on a wrap.

how does RouterOS relate to HTML files? if you need to run some other OS, there is no problem using CF as a bootable drive. just DD the linux image to a CF and boot from it. see routerboard.com to download the image.

I appreciate your help with this btw, but all I want to know is if there is an image of RouterOS that the 532 can use form the CF slot or not?
