Bandwithlimitation with RADIUS

hi,

I'm using mt-rb500 with Firmware v3.0beta6, it's configured as ap-bridge. AAA is done against RADIUS.

I've freeradius with mysql-backend in use. MAC-authentication and MAC-accounting works fine, but I've some problems with shaping.

how can I limit the rx-tx-rates of the wlan-clients (without using pppoe or hotspot mode, only ap-bridge mode), is this possible via RADIUS?

I think of queues which should be automatically generated or something in that way.

regards
chris

You are using 'wireless' service for RADIUS, 'rate-limit' is not sent, when 'wireless' is used.
Wireless provides 'Ascend-Data-Rate' and 'Ascend-Xmit-Rate', that could limit bandwidth, however two-way bandwidth will be limited only, when client is MikroTik RouterOS.

You can use 'hotspot, dhcp, ppp' services, rate-limit is provided fro these services.
