How on earth do you get Paypal into walled garden "HOTS

Tue Apr 03, 2007 10:17 pm

Just looking for help!

I can't seem to find any way to allow paypal to load properly in the walled garden. Basically it dosent make sense. You can allow every address from paypal and still it won't load graphics. I found a server list that worked on one computer but when testing on another the graphics don't load:

paypal.com
http://www.paypal.com
paypalobjects.com
http://www.paypalobjects.com
paypal.112.2o7.net
http://www.paypal.112.2o7.net

Crazy huh. The only way I can make it work is by allowing 443 on dst addresses. Not good! What is the difference between computers and if you look at source for paypal page every site is there in the walled garden.

Ahh IP walled garden. I was using just the walled garden. Thanks... I also had to specify tcp and port 443 instead of https://.

Cheers ;)

Paypal uses many differant IP's and trying to add them all is quite a pain.
I have used the following in my walled garden for over a year with no issues.

paypal.com = allow
http://www.paypal.com = allow
*.paypal.com = allow
paypalobjects.com = allow
http://www.paypalobjects.com = allow
*.paypalobjects.com = allow

The above has worked for me for well over a year with very little to no issues.
