*) fixed problem where Winbox could not login into RouterOS v6.45 (or later) router;
*) fixed DHCP lease sorting by "last seen" column;

If you experience version related issues, then please report them to support@mikrotik.com.

If you try to upgrade directly from Winbox loader and version is not available, then you might need to wait for a while until cache in path between your device and our servers is refreshed.

First try daily manging about 300tiks with windows and afther that the same type of work with winbox throug wine (let's say under ubuntu).
If you will find no difference, you have some weird perception problem.

But sure, I also prefer native apps.

BUT :
there is grag&drop problem (winbox sometime freeze after d&d; tested od multiple distros //with kde, gnome, mate..// and also with multiple versions of wine)
font problem
speed "problem" (winbox is not exactly slow on wine but is MUCH slower than winbox in windows)


As I said earlier, native linux version would be GREAT, I believe I am not alone with that wish.

- you can resolve font problem easily, when you install fonts to the wine using winetricks, don't forget to recreate wine prefix to use new fonts

- drag and drop for me work only with direction from the desktop environment to the "wine winbox". The opposite direction (from winbox to the kde/xfce) not work for me. Try to copy files while logged using ip address, not mac address.

Guys, I am using wine, linux, mikrotik and all of that stuffs since roughly 2008 or so...
I known all of this tricks and thx for helping but this is exactly that reason for make native app (winbox).

All of this little things are annoying. Especially when you work with this tool 6 or more hrs daily.

Very soon will all distros drop 32b libraries and dependencies. Wine is big pile of software (64+32+fonts it is around 1GB of data,) just for one small binary file (winbox, 1600KB).

Yes,I known, windows is major os on pc world but it is not OS for this sort of craftsmans (admins, network specialist, it experts, ...). I kinda thinking mikrotik deserve your own mgmt app in each platform.
Especially when we already have android and ios version....

Don't tell people they have weird perception problems only because you can't reproduce the problem at the first try. You didn't even ask about details or how to reproduce.

example: In Linux Mint with MATE desktop the child windows of interfaces within winbox are opened with an offset. Even if you maximize the child windows you can not see the status bar of the interface. You have to maximize the main window and resize it back to normal and after that you can maximize the child window to view the status bar at the bottom. That issue doesn't exist on Windows 7/10.

Maybe you could extend https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Winbox with workarounds/solutions for issues with wine?

Also, Winbox on Linux/Wine is definitely heavier/slower than on windows. Each screen refresh causes cpu spikes when having multiple windows open.
On windows there is no such cpu usage no matter how many windows I have open in winbox.

Anyway. I am not against the native Linux winbox at all, but please, in this case, keep native Windows winbox application side by side.

when speaking of native winbox for unices, i might opt for native netinstall instead of winbox.
it mustn't even be GUI based, in fact i'd prefer a scriptable version

shorting by uptime connected in pppoe-> acive connections doesn´t store your preference (less uptime) when reconnecting again via winbox.

Is this winbox or os issue? Timestamp is wrong and dynamic which means if I log in after 5 minutes, it will show this time + 5 minutes. Always 3 days ahead.

winbox issue, last known good version is 3.16

wine is no longer working on macOS 10.15.
We need a native mac version winbox.

Hi, I hope this is the correct place to ask:

Is it possible that the next version will have better support for "RBLtAP-2HnD" product in as far as addressing / accessing the LTE modems and sim cards (settings)? Currently Winbox have no support to access those at all and also SIM 1 / Top Modem is nowhere to be found.
