Hello, I have problem in one wireless link between basebox 5 with (#oct/ 1/2019 9:49:53 by RouterOS 6.45.6 # software id = ZR3Z-YZG9)
I revive it every week with netinstall!
The problem: It stays in a state where it restarts in 10 seconds(beeping) and not start operating(winbox does not find it)...!
I changed with more 2 different device basebox 5 but it is same problems.
I changed poe-injector, adapter 220v ....
...
The link is 10km!
there is nothing interesting in log.
Тhe problem has been around for 1-2 months.
Нow i'm thinking of putting it in a metal box.
Any suggestions?

Тhe time is not exactly fixed , maybe after 2 weeks but with all the same problems with different time with the same problem ..!
I think, there is an external interference because two meters from my antenna there is a 122MHz yagi antenna with pointing right at mine(I dont know what is the power).
Нow I'm waiting and next break I think to move it location of my devices....!

Do they work after a reset? Netinstall ?

Probably is a problem with NAND memory. Check the bad blocks percentage on System -> Resources.
Also check if installation is ok on System -> Packages
I had this problem with a BaseBox 2 but it solves "magically" when I do a big update (6.42.5 to 6.44 with firmware included) I not know why this happened, but Bad Block downs to 0.0% and no more bricks on the device.
Regards.

Firmware upgraded too?
When you say its beeping, it does that in a loop? Like restarting again and again?
If yes, maybe you ve set an IP address in watchdog?

As you can see, you have 2,8% of bad blocks. In my case I had 2,6%.

Yes, there is beeping loop.
Yes there was watchdog, but I already turned it off. I also changed the AC-contact that was behind the UPS. Now UPS is isolate.
And I am waiting.

You ve turned watchdog off, However the IP address textbox is emty or not ?
The ip address box with the watchdog enable/disable button are different features...
Your device is just in a restart loop!

Ok...
What is the voltage supplied to basebox? System health voltage? Have you checked that?
Voltage drop of basebox under high cpu load?
UTP Cable length ?

I changed the location of antenna and basebox with 5 meters in back, because there is a airport antenna yagi direct to my equipment around 3 meters.
For now there is no problems...! So strange!
