OpenVPN Bad decompression

Hello,

Im sure im not the only one facing this issue
Bad LZO decompression header byte: 69
Any clue why the LZO compression is still not supported?

I don't think people have requested it, at least not nearly as many as who wanted UDP support.

I don't think people have requested it, at least not nearly as many as who wanted UDP support.

Oh, we did. As much as UDP and route push and ... (name your poison) but no avail, yet. But we still have hope. :-)

Even in standard OpenVPN, compression and it's configuration is a big mess. Such options are not neatly negotiated.
And it likely does not work anymore on a typical connection where 99% of the traffic is https...

Name at least one good reason to support LZO? Even on standard OpenVPN it is being deprecated
