I searched this forum and I coudnt finf neither one complete tutorial how to modify motherboard to add the external connector with antenna for this router.
All the pic in threads are dead links.
Only thing what I coud find are these two video, but It is not clear do I need to do this for both antenna or just one, like in video.
He even did something on left antenna, but as I undrstand (I do not understand his language) he decided that it is better to do with another what he showing in video.

In second video he pulling down capacitors (I think) from both antenna.
Is this a correct way?

Because the wifi signal is terrible!
I can not watch the youtube video after 3 walls (of 40cm) diagonally on 15m.

With another TP Link router, I have full signal..and it spread the signal till midle of street, so I do not agree with u!
Anyone with right way to solder the pigtail cable?

I would not solder cable directly to the pcb. Instead get u.fl PCB mount connector, remove the two SMDs that are in the way and solder connector there instead. Seems like there is footprint for it on the PCB (probably used during testing, then bridged by SMDs in production) so it should fit right in. Then use normal u.fl to SMA or N pigtail like for other routerboards.

Thx for replay.
Then your solution is almost same as on this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alHn2XZLgVI
Only difference is that you proposing the connector and the guy did it with direct soldering on mainboard.

easyyu, did you manage to do it? Did it help to boost the signal?
