Guys,
we can see you are trying to stop spam by securing your forum - but please bring Tapatalk API back.

Related: is it possible in default skin (Canvas) to have post times displayed in absolute format (i.e. 2020-01-08 08:00 instead of "3 minutes ago")? If I select different skin, the times are in absolute format, but I hate the general look&feel.

On a related note, the "go to first new post in thread" button seems to be missing.
Edit: Button is fixed now

Just checked, not synchronizing. Other forums work fine, so not app related.

Tapatalk admin told me today that plugin at MT forum site is missing or misconfigured. Please fix, MT!

BTW, not only that relative time format is ugly and non-informative, it also doesn't work on some browser/OS combinations. It works fine on FF72.0/Win7, it works fine on FF68.3.0esr/LinuxDebian10, but it doesn't work on FF71.0/LinuxUbuntu18.04LTS ... in the latest case it shows "last year" regardless the actual date (can be seconds ago or year 2016). The page source, retreived from forum server, actually contains correct timestamps, but displayed inside <span class="timestamp">
timestamp</span>. If I open "post reply", the dates of posts (displayed below edit area) are displayed just fine according to forum preferences ... So obviously the code defining class timestamp is sometimes not working correctly ...
Please, remove this ugly "hack" from CSS file of Canvas skin.

Maybe I am just getting old and becoming more resistive to change, but I agree with above

Yes, it's driving me mad. On my browser it display the timestamp properly and then a fraction of a second later it changes to this hideous, meaningless, dumbed-down relative format. I loathe it.
Please, remove this ugly "hack" from CSS file of Canvas skin.
Hear, hear!

Thanks for good old "prosilver" style (I really like you for keeping it as option!), everything is correct there. Ok, not everything, favicon went missing, so if it's not too difficult to fix, it would be nice. But otherwise it's perfect.

For months have been unable to login with Tapatalk. Others have posted same thing. As of yesterday or the day before can’t see anything on mikrotik forum using Tapatalk.

I get the fake_request.php error too when trying to login. Is it only affecting a few of us?

Now it's even worse - MT Forum is removed from available forums in Tapatalk but it seems to be a natural consequences of incompatibility...

Yeah what happened - Mikrotik disappeared. I would check daily to see if the issue was fixed and now they don't include Mikrotik at all. Did you have a falling out about where the issue lies?
A real shame as Tapatalk on mobile device was much nicer and easier to use than a web interface.

I think I've had the same problem. My tapatalk global account was different from the one I've created on this forum. Try to use the correct password.
Thanks for bringing forum for tapatalk alive! Working fine for a few days now...

Good riddance. A far more usable experience directly on the forum from the web. No forced Tapatalk ad blocking precious real estate.

Never understood the need for Tapatalk.
Most forums these days are mobile friendly and we have bookmarks in browsers for some time now.
Why do people use it?

Insert: Comedy Relief (not serious)
The real issue is that MT staff are not working on tapatalk instead they are taking tap dancing lessons. It is certainly paying off - they are professional tip toers, when it comes to addressing wifi issues for example ;-)
(note to self - there is a Haiku in there somewhere!)
