Hi,
I'm very new to Mikrotik and I have yet to setup QoS on my CCR. I don't necessarily want to create limits on the bandwidth since I'm using a 500Mbps connection but I would like to arrange the queues so that certain things takes priority over others. Even with a connection this fast, if the queues are not properly in place, gaming ping drops very badly and video streaming quality drops and comes back to full quality. I'm basing this over my previous experience using ASUS RT-AC86U becoz their QoS makes it very easy but unfortunately doesn't work with multi-WAN load balancing connection . I would really appreciate anybody who can help with this. I know I have to mark the routes (which I'm still learning how to do) then be able to create a queue tree.
I would like to mimic this:
I need help with the mangle setup. However like gaming, most examples have game specific ports which is too crazy if I have to think about all the games that I play. Otherwise, once I have those, I know how to setup the priorities in the queue tree.
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
Best,
-Robin
