LoRa Packet forwarder

Hello,
will the new TCP based packet forwarder for LoRa be implemented?
or even the Semtech Basic Station protocol?
the standard UDP based packer forwarder is totally outdated and can produce a high rate of packet loss.
regards, Bjoern

I’ve just had a less than perfect experience with the UDP forwarder where TTN maintenance has thrown my gateway offline, and I don’t have remote access to it(on the mountain). So it looks like a trip, and probably a regular reboot script too.
BasicStation would be a welcome addition. Did you raise a feature request? Not getting a lot of traction here in the forum it seems

I have made a feature request back in april 2020
No response.
I like the mikrotik products but service and support could be improved.

Any news on this? We used MikroTik for our deployments and we need Semtech Basic Station protocol in Mikrotik LoRa gateways.
These features, with powerful RouterOS, should be a piece of cake for MikroTik engineers to implement.

+1, this is quickly becoming required to manage gateways at scale. It also removes a whole bunch of config requirements (frequencies etc) as it comes supplied from the LNS.

Sorry to bump old thread, new to LoRa and our company is about to have 120 GWs installed. It most probably is going to be done by 3rd party, but they use Mikrotiks too. Would like to know, if that feature was ever implemented? Or are we still dependant upon the UDP feeds?
