Remot Management for FSwitch behind Mikrotik

Fri Jul 24, 2020 5:21 am

Hello,

I am trying to have remote management of a FSwitch behind Ethernet 5 on my mikrotik connected to a client by an antena provider. I have a very simple configuration right now, there is still no internet access on Mikrotik, no firewall rules at the moment, some vlans configured for future use and just one static route for the default route, so far i can access my mikrotik remotely with no problems through Wireless provider vlan 1813 which has ip address 10.40.23.206/30 but cannot access the switch remotely.

The Switch is on Ether 5 with a tagged vlan 100 and an ip address 10.40.23.210/30. I havent made a Port forward because i want to be able to enter the switch directly with its own ip for monitoring purposes and ease of configuration. i am posting the configuration file in hopes that someone can tell me what, and if i am doing something wrong in this configuration. Dont hesitate to let me know if i havent explained myself correctly i am looking for options to manage this switch from the office. Thank you,

Config DELETED

What IP setup is your ISP actually giving you? Are they routing some IP subnet via your router's "public" IP address? Or are they rather giving you a subnet without being router towards you?

BTW, if you don't have a good reason to stick to ancient ROS version, you should upgrade it to current long-term (6.45.9 as of time of writing).

If your MT is acting as a router then your devices have no protection, so assuming that you have an ISP modem/router before the MT??
A network diagram will help!
