How would one go about encouraging Mikrotik to upgrade their encryption standards through OpenVPN so that one can use ExpressVPN, NordVPN or others at a standard better than PPTP? Is there a suggestion box? Many users would greatly benefit from these upgrades and it's not hard.

Openvpn is old news, as long as they support wireguard moving forward they should be in good standing regarding third party VPN providers..
Remember the idea of vpn is to keep information between company products(devices), using a third party was never the reason to put ipsec on routers.
