Can I get some opinions here. I am asking on behalf of someone else here but my question is this:

If a reasonable sized regional ISP has a CCR1072 in a critical core network location and is still running RouterOS 6.42.7 - should they upgrade ROS no matter what or is it better to stick to what is known working and basically leave well alone? The existing version is now 2.5 years old from what I can tell by looking at the changelog history. The router in question apparently carries that type of traffic that would need an advance notice outage window etc etc.

Anyone want to comment about this? Is it a security risk? Are there know issues which have since been fixed that make it important this is updated ASAP?
