Helo I have routerboard to give service to some clients (offices in a building compex). All these are connected to several switch´s with vlan port in different eth´s of the routerboard. Some client have Private IP (I give to them a whole class since they have many pc´s for diferent client i assign a different private network) and others with Public IP without nat, which today I give directly from subred i make in a Cisco (the cisco has a class C /24) and pointing each subred to the routerboard I do not have any inconvenient since they have ip´s fixed. I am not using PPPOE since all of the clients does not have a router but use switch and manually put ip´s in all pc´s and they either do not have some server). I am not using hotspot either, since the network from the beginning was made. Single I assign Public ip´s to some of them and to whom they have private I make them leave by an Public IP only. The problem is i change from Internet supplier which directly gives the connection to me by a LRE (directly utp with one class /26). For this I am configuring a new routerboard In this case i not sure to configure the network of same form (which in the Cisco but in mikrotik) since I have less Public ip´s, I think in my my case no have chance to use PPPOE by before mentioned (I believe that serious complicated for the administration which in an office with 30 pc´s and others with 20 pc´s and less.... each one of them must make a connection PPPOE, without speaking of all the office´s).Im not surely to use hotspot since there is some clients who have several Public ip´s assigned to the same eth, linux, Windows or others.I thinking if it is possible in version 2.9.44 to specify that IP to assign to such MAC address. In previous versions it used for some clients with arp reply only and put the IP corresponding to a MAC address. I want to try to assure a little this since by but filters that use I do not want to have disadvantages that somebody in some of switch can put some IP of the client and have connection to Internet, but only port that has clients connection are work.
The truth that if this is possible to make with Hotspot??? (I talk about at the same time to give several Public ip´s to a same MAC address) I want Either that the user must not login screen i need to authenticate it by MAC address.

Any suggestions....

You have supplied a lot of detail in your post and I may have not completely understood your post but this is my suggestion and reason for the suggestion.

I would suggest that you do use PPPoE for most of your clients - if they have a single PC then this is easy (you do not even need to have TCP/IP bound to the eth adaptor in the PC or MT router for security). When a client has more than a couple of PCs then tell them that they must have a router (which can do PPPoE) also have some you can supply them already configured - you could use a cheaper routerboard for this.

By putting in some more routers you will reduce your Ethernet collision domain (I know you use VLAN but I'm not sure if this splits the collision domain or not). You will also simplify your administration and be able to easily set up bandwidth control (QoS) etc.

Let us all know how you reslolve your problem as I'm sure that what ever solution you choose will help others on the forum.
