just a crazy idea - would it be possible to use mAP or mAP lite as an occasiona-use network cable tester?

But, as often with MT documentation, I can't quite make whether this feature is implemented on mAP or mAP lite as well...

Well, if anyone has a good (and cheap) suggestion of a dedicated hardware, I'm eager to know. I think the only requirement is to detect wrong wires and the length at where the loop is opened.
