Hi all ,

i am nearly new in MT and ask for your help,
MT RB2011iL and 6.48.2 OS behind a Vigor 130 Modem VDSL2 100Mbit
2 Things:

First is i randomly run in disconnects via pppoE the login reprocess takes a few minutes .message is peer is not responding..
can i debug that..and how best way?
The provider said the line is not the issue.

Second.. i changed from a Fritz Box to the MT ..and now i have the problem that IP TV (IGMP) is not working.
I found some articles and wiki ... but also need help to debug / find out the issue.

thanks for help
regards
C

you must add separate package multicast and enable igmp

DO NOT INSTALL (copy inside files and reboot) ALL, ONLY multicast package!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
https://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/ ... 6.48.2.zip

On future when ask routerboard to upgrade, it download automatically future versions.

hI and thanks first .. i did that already .. also with the ntp package
but everythin i test went wrong..
set igmp proxy my pppoE out as uplink ...
and then the e.g. vlan 1 for downlink... also enable on the bridge igmp snooping... but it will not work..
do you know how i can debug it or which settings i should set?
As far as i can see sometimes in MFC there are connections but with no traffic
and they leave after a while
thanks

Hi all,

noone who can assist a bit?
Also with the new version 6.48.3 i am not able to run my Iptv . It works 10 seconds and then hang up - think when change to Multicast,
example -- in the debug log for igmp-proxy there comes the message :

ignoring request from unknown adress -"alternative-subnets" configuration my be required
destination=239.255.255.250
source : 192.168.x.x (IP from the decoder TV)

to make it easy i directly put the decoder to the MT eth5 (uplink ppoe on eth1) and creaet a own vlan for that with dhcp. As it works for 10 sec the network is all ok.

Thanks a lot for a bit help in that

set igmp-proxy with uplink pppoe and the known adress form provider for MC as alternative subnets upstream
my Tv vlan is set as querier

the bridge is set with IGMP Snooping and there igmp v3 MC Router Permanent no entry at MC querier
