no it doesn't support pppoe passthrough for multiple pppoe sessions.

For Multiple sessions I would understand because the PPPoE server would have two clients with the same source MAC Address..

But it would work for a single PPPoE session, correct?

I was trying to use a 133c in bridge mode to fix an unusual problem I am having with one client when using a 133c in router mode. I could not pass a single PPPoE session through it. Bummer, I thought I was finished ordering Tranzeos! :-(

for transparent bridging we allways suggest to use WDS.
Also why don't you terminate the PPPoE sessions from the station router and then route the traffic to your client.

Hello Uldis,

I have deployed quite a few RB133c boards in router mode doing the PPPoE login and they are working great. I just have a problem with one customer that only happens when he is logged in as an administrator, on a certain website completing web forms. That is the only reason I am trying to bridge a PPPoE connection through the Rb133c. The website works when I use a bridge and PPPoE authentication from his wireless router. All my other customers are routed using the MT RB133c. I love this setup too by the way.

To keep configuration simple for techs in the field we try to standardize around the bridge setup and have the customer routers handle the PPPoE auth. In some cases I have the CPE setup as a router and ROS handles the PPPoE authentication.

Anyway I installed ROS V.3rc1 on a test AP and CPE and I've answered my own question. It is possible to authenticate a single PPPoE session through router os v.3 w/ psuedobridge-station mode. The Calling-Station-ID shows up as the MAC address of the CPE unit (just like the Tranzeo CPE's) instead of the customer's router MAC (like when the units in station-wds mode) which is what I had expected.

change the mss mangle on the ethernet to something like 1300 and everything will be fixed. We had the same problem.

Rosario,

I went back and tried a very low PPPoE MTU setting and the problem went away. I had initially tried an MTU of 1450 and it didn't work so I hadn't messed with that setting any more. I finally left it at 1410 and the problem is fixed or at least it is a work-around.

Thank you very much for your comment.
