As a beginner to WinBox, how can I block all P2P traffic for most of the time, but allow P2P traffic on Sundays? If you can help, please explain all steps simply!!!

simple firewall configuration like this :

/ip firewall filter add chain=forward p2p=all-p2p action=drop time=00:00-00:00,sat,fri,thu,wed,tue,mon

put on top configuration.

Hi all, I'm testdriving mt v.and most interested in blocking p2p traffic, i used this line:
/ip firewall filter add chain=forward p2p=all-p2p action=drop time=00:00-00:00,sat,fri,thu,wed,tue,mon
and played with it changing the time and days, but has no effect on LIMEWIRE P2P program
I'll appreciate any input on this matter.

you can try to use the new l7 protocol matcher, which is in RouterOS v3RC. it can match much more stuff, including limewire. see: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/L7
