Hi guys,

i have a problem with my rb2011 and a PPPoE connection.
After setting up the connection everything works fine, but after x hours (x = different every time) the connection gets lost.
In the logs i dont see any special information or logs that the connection is lost or PPPoE is not reconnecting.

Most of the times a reboot of the rb2011 is necessary, then it works again for x hours.
I upgraded to the latest RC7.2 but still the same problem.

Anybody has an idea to fix this?

What i would do is enable under system logging, the topics pppoe and debug and see if i get any additional information.
Also, when the pppoe drops, if you scan the interface used for the pppoe, do you get any results ?

Thanks for your response, will check this with additional logging.

The problem is the router is at anothers home and the only solution for them is to reset the router (power unplug and re plug)
So the logs are most of the times gone and i cant debug at the time the problem occurs.

When i am at their and i set everything up, it works so long that the problem dont come up again.
