Where were the 8080 connetions from/to?

You don't have proxy configured and open to the outside world so that somehow you've got people bouncing through you as an anonimous proxy?

It seems that your Proxy is Open, Try to block 8080 by / ip firewall filter

/ip firewall filter

chain=input
src-address=0.0.0.0/0
protocol=tcp
dst-port=8080
in-interface=WAN
action=drop
